The Nuthatch Follies

The purpose of this section is to keep you up-to-date on what is happening here, latest accomplishments, and anything interesting that we happen upon. This section is updated very regularly.

While I have been remiss in updating you, here's the latest scoop...

Dundee (Nuthatch's Snowy River Rider) picks up his first points towards his Canadian championship, going WD at the Oxford County shows under Sandra Goose Allen over some top US specials.

Asa (Nuthatch's As You Wish) picks up two more points in Idaho. Comet (Nuthatch Ersehnen All 4 Luv) picks up one more point in Idaho and Buffy (Nuthatch's Unforgettable) goes WB/BW/BB  at the Middlesex shows from the 9-12 month puppy class.

Asa (Nuthatch's As You Wish) goes WB/BW two days in a row in Utah. Comet (Nuthatch Ersehnen All 4 Luv) goes WD one day and Mojo (Flatlanders Mountain Magic)  goes WD the other.

Delceg picks up his first FDJ leg.

Moose (Nuthatch's Moose Eh Moose, owned by the Colley family) finishes his AKC NA (Novice Agility) title!

Delceg finishes his Canadian championship in three weekends! Kaylee picks up her first points towards her Canadian championship.

Shiraz & Dundee's litter is here - 7 boys and 3 girls!

Chance (Am Ch Nuthatch's Gerry's The Initiator SH) earns her first leg towards her Master Hunter (MH) title!

Kaylee (Nuthatch's Firefly) wins the Open Bitch class at three out of four of the pre-Westminster specialties in Secaucus, NJ and goes RWB one day as well.

Becca (Am Cam Ch Shomberg N Partridge Run Tribecca) and Delceg (Am/ Int/ Luxembourg/ Hungarian/Jr World Ch Malkomzi Delceg) are expecting in early March!

Dalwhinnie (Nuthatch's Q. E. D.)  goes WB/BW for her first three points towards her Canadian championship at the Wildwood shows. Delceg (Malomkozi Delceg) goes WD for 2 points towards his Canadian championship.

Delceg (Malomkozi Delceg) is coming to Canada in January for a visit.

Malcolm (Nuthatch's Captain Mal Rorke) finishes his championship at the Elora Gorge shows for a total of three weekends out. Congrats to his owners - the Rorke family!

Cupid (Can Ch Bruneau River Thing Calld Luv, co-owned with Betty & Jay Weaver and bred by Jay) died in a tragic accident. Although many will remember her flying around the ring, here at Nuthatch she will always be remembered as a much beloved bed hog. She is dearly missed.

 

Mac (Am Can Ch Nuthatch's Chase The Sun) finishes his American championship, handled by Sarah Crepeau.

Malcolm picks up two more points - going WD at Wine Country. Buffy (Nuthatch's Unforgettable) and Willow (Darnelle Makin' U A Believer) go Group 1st and Group 4th respectively at the sanction match.

Mac goes Best of Winners in New York for his first major.

Mac goes Best of Breed from the classes, over ranked specials in Maine.

Malcolm goes Best of Breed over specials from the 12-18 month class at St Catharines for his first points towards his Canadian championship.

Mac goes WD & BOS in MA, handled by Sarah Crepeau.

Stella finishes her Australian championship in style at 18 months of age!

Stella (Nuthatch's Star Crossed Luv) does it again, picking up another 10 points in Australia. Congrats to owners Christine Cunningham and Peter Serle!

Shiraz (Nuthatch's Unchained Melody) picks up two points at the Hamilton shows, going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners.

Miranda (NEWPoint Due Process) picks up her first major at the shows in New Mexico. Only a major left to finish her American championship! Congrats to breeder/owner Nancy Ward and proud Daddy Charlie.

Moose picks up the second leg of his Am Novice Agility (NA) title going first in his class. Congrats to his owner/handler Brooke Colley!

Remington (Nuthatch's Little MG, owned by the O'Rourke Family) picks up the first leg of her FD title.

Coco (Nuthatch's Hot Cocoa FDJ NAVHDA NA III, owned by the Woods Family) picks up the first leg of her FD title.

Stella (Nuthatch Star Crossd Luv, owned by Christine Cunningham and Peter Serle) goes Best of Breed from the classes at the ACT Gundog Specialty in Canberra, Australia.

Comet (NEWPoint Chief Justice) finishes his American championship. Congrats to his owners Robin Lane and Nancy Ward!

Miranda (NEWPoint Due Process) and Jag (Am Ch NEWPoint Judge Advocate General) earn their AKC Canine Good Citizen titles. Miranda and Jag are both out of Charlie and Splash, bred by Nancy Ward.

Coco (Nuthatch's Hot Cocoa NA III, owned by the Wood family) finished her FDJ in three straight legs with a consistent score of 98/100 every time.

Skye (Australian Ch Kruz Stairway To Heaven, out of Charlie and Austr Gr Ch Krikka Kint of Scandal, bred by Joe-Anne Simpson and owned by Keith & Linda Evans) goes Best of Breed at the Melbourne Royal over a record GSP entry.

Jag's second weekend out sees him bring home four majors (2 3-point and 2 4-point) and a new American Champion at 7 months and 5 days of age! Congrats from proud father, Charlie, to breeder/owner Nancy Ward and his dam Splash (Am Can Int Ch NEWPoint Sunsplash of Ehrenvogel JH RN CGC).

Nuthatch does well at the Canadian Nationals. Charlie wins Best in Veteran Sweepstakes and Veteran Dog. True goes WB.

Spider (Nuthatch BCK Alfa Romeo Spider, owned by Alice Richter & Mary Finley) finishes his American championship in style with a 4 point major, going Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex (over top ranked specials) at the River City Cluster in San Antonio, Texas.

Skye (Austr. Ch. Kruz Stairway To Heaven, bred by Joe-Anne Simpson and owned by Keith & Linda Evans (Krikka GSPs)) goes Reserve Best in Show at 19 months over 1000+ dogs under breeder judge Georgina Byrne. Skye is out of Charlie and Rumer (Austr. Gr Ch Krikka Hint of Scandal).

I am trying to catch up on updating pages and getting some new pictures. Keep your fingers crossed that all will be worked out soon!
